Xiaomi has introduced its Redmi Note 15 smartphone series in Pakistan, bringing two models to the market initially — the Redmi Note 15 and Redmi Note 15 Pro — while a higher-end Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G variant is expected to arrive soon.
According to Xiaomi Pakistan’s official listings, the Redmi Note 15 starts at Rs69,999, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro is priced from Rs94,999. The Pro+ 5G model, which will offer upgraded specifications, is expected to retail for Rs145,999 when it becomes available.
Display and Design
Both phones feature a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The standard Redmi Note 15 comes with IP64 dust and water resistance, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and dual stereo speakers. The handset has a thickness of 7.94mm and weighs about 183.7 grams.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro adds several upgrades, including Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection and a peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. It also includes an in-display fingerprint scanner and improved IP65 protection against dust and water. The device measures 7.96mm in thickness.
Performance and Software
The Redmi Note 15 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra processor, while the Pro model runs on the more powerful Helio G200 Ultra chipset.
Both smartphones operate on Xiaomi’s HyperOS software platform. The Pro version also includes additional features such as Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.4, eSIM support, and expanded AI-based imaging tools.
The models launched in Pakistan currently rely on Helio-based chipsets, while faster 5G variants powered by newer processors are expected to arrive later.
Camera Features
The base Redmi Note 15 includes a 108-megapixel primary camera paired with an AI depth sensor, along with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro offers a more advanced camera system with a 200-megapixel main sensor featuring optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
Battery and Charging
Battery capacity is one of the highlights of the series. The Redmi Note 15 packs a 6,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging and 18W reverse charging.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro increases battery capacity to 6,500mAh and supports 45W fast charging.
Pricing and Availability
The smartphones are available through MiStore, Xiaomi Sale, Daraz, and CoreCart.
The Redmi Note 15 is offered in Glacier Blue, Purple, Forest Green, and Black, with prices set at Rs69,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs74,999 for the 8GB + 256GB model.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro comes in Titanium, Glacier Blue, and Black, priced at Rs94,999 for the 8GB + 256GB version and Rs114,999 for the 12GB + 512GB model.
Xiaomi has also announced the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G with 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, expected to launch soon in Pakistan at Rs145,999.
Differences From Global Versions
Compared with international models, the Pakistani Redmi Note 15 offers a larger 6,000mAh battery than the 5G variant available elsewhere, which carries a 5,520mAh battery.
However, global versions feature slimmer designs, stronger water resistance ratings and more powerful chipsets, including Snapdragon and Dimensity processors.
Higher-end variants such as the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G and Pro+ 5G also include larger 6.83-inch displays with 1.5K resolution, advanced ingress protection and faster charging speeds of up to 100W.
