Islamabad: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) successfully hosted Pakistan’s largest-ever Digital Youth Summit on Sunday at the Jinnah Convention Centre, drawing a crowd of over 12,000 enthusiastic young participants from across the country.
The landmark event was a dynamic showcase of youth engagement, digital innovation, and political vision, with more than 50% of the attendees being women, reflecting a strong female presence and interest in digital and civic discourse.
The summit featured a powerful keynote address by JI Emir Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, who outlined a comprehensive and future-focused roadmap for Pakistan’s youth, emphasizing the role of technology, entrepreneurship, and education in national development. “Our youth are the engine of progress. It is time we give them the platform, tools, and vision to transform Pakistan,” said Hafiz Naeem during his address.
Organized under the leadership of JI Information Secretary Shakil Ahmed Turabi and Head of the Media Cell Salman Sheikh, the event offered a mix of motivational speeches, panel discussions, and interactive sessions. Prominent youth leaders, influencers, tech professionals, and educationists were also present to share their experiences and inspire the next generation.
Participants praised the event’s scale, energy, and content. “It was truly inspiring to be part of such a historic and well-organized event. It’s not just about politics—it’s about empowerment, vision, and action,” said one attendee.
The Digital Youth Summit marks a bold step by Jamaat-e-Islami to connect with and mobilize Pakistan’s young population, highlighting their pivotal role in shaping the country’s digital and democratic future.
