Paid subscribers get more time to test the company’s most advanced AI model across web, mobile and coding tools

Anthropic has extended promotional access to its flagship AI model, Claude Fable 5, giving paid subscribers additional time to explore its most advanced capabilities without incurring extra charges.

The company has pushed the offer’s expiry date to July 19, 2026, allowing eligible users on paid plans to continue using the model for another week beyond the original deadline.

Offer available to paid subscribers

The extended promotion applies to users subscribed to Pro, Max, Team, and eligible Enterprise plans where the feature has been enabled by their organisation.

During the promotional period, subscribers can use Claude Fable 5 for up to 50% of their weekly usage allowance at no additional cost.

Anthropic said users do not need to activate the offer manually, as access is automatically available within eligible accounts.

Company’s most capable AI model

Claude Fable 5 is Anthropic’s latest frontier AI model, designed to handle more complex reasoning, coding and creative tasks than previous Claude versions.

Because of its higher computing requirements, the model consumes usage limits more quickly than standard Claude models.

Once users reach half of their weekly allowance, they can either switch to another Claude model or purchase additional usage credits if they wish to continue using Fable 5.

Available across multiple platforms

Subscribers can access Claude Fable 5 through a range of Anthropic products, including:

  • Claude on the web
  • Claude Mobile
  • Claude Desktop
  • Claude Code
  • Claude Cowork
  • Claude Design
  • Claude for Microsoft 365
  • Claude for Teams
  • Claude Tag

To use the model in Claude Code, users must install version 2.1.170 or later, while Claude Cowork requires the latest version of Claude Desktop.

Additional benefits for developers
