vivo X500 Series Leak Suggests Massive 7,000 mAh+ Batteries

By Tanveer Ahmed

Lahore:Vivo introduced the X300 and X300 Pro in China last month, with the two models offering 6,040 mAh and 6,510 mAh batteries, respectively. Now, a new rumor is already pointing toward the brand’s next-generation lineup, expected to arrive as the X500 series sometime next year.

The launch may also take place in October, as vivo is reportedly skipping the X400 name due to tetraphobia in some Asian markets.

According to information shared by Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the X500 series will feature batteries exceeding 7,000 mAh. This would be a major increase over both the X300 and X300 Pro.

Meanwhile, the upcoming X300 Ultra is said to fall short of the 7,000 mAh mark, suggesting its battery capacity will likely sit between 6,000 mAh and 7,000 mAh.

The leak also notes that Vivo is preparing several mid-range phones for next year, equipped with 8,000 mAh and 9,000 mAh batteries.

This indicates that the company’s focus at the flagship level may be centered on advanced camera systems rather than maximizing battery size, with the camera hardware taking up internal space that mid-range models can instead dedicate to larger batteries.
